Promising individual. Won 5-runner maiden (17/2) at Brighton (7f, good) 12 days ago, readily. Appeals as the type to go on improving, and while this is tougher under a penalty, he's a big player.

Once-raced maiden. 80/1, last of 14 in maiden at Bath (5.7f, good) on debut 35 days ago, slowly away. Up in trip and, like stablemate Come To Pass, he's probably more one for the longer term.

Foaled April 10. €16,000 yearling, Recorder colt. Dam, maiden (stayed 1¼m), half-sister to high-class 9f-1¼m winner Presvis. Yard can ready a newcomer and the market should be instructive.

Foaled March 7. €5,000 foal, £11,000 2-y-o, El Kabeir colt. Dam maiden (best effort at 1½m). Stable is not synonymous with winning newcomers and he's likely to come on for the run.

Twice-raced maiden. 20/1, first run since leaving Barry Brennan when seventh of 11 in maiden at Bath (5.7f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Up in trip and it's probably best to look elsewhere.

RAWYAAN duly left his debut form well behind when scoring at Brighton, impressing with the way he finished the race despite still looking green. Further improvement is very much on the cards and he is taken to get the better of Baileysgutfeeling, who has shown plenty in a couple of 6f novice events and should be winning sooner rather than later. Pavlodar could be the pick of the trio of newcomers.

  1. RAWYAAN
  2. BAILEYSGUTFEELING (IRE)
  3. PAVLODAR (FR)
