Looked highly promising early in his career and, while a bit underwhelming on AW earlier this year, it would be no surprise if he got back on the up after a gelding operation and 6 months off.

Resumed winning ways in 6f handicap on Rowley course here in May but he has disappointed on both subsequent outings, including over C&D on latest. Bit to prove.

Scored at Kempton on return and has acquitted himself well since, first home on the stands' side when third in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood last time. Another bold showing likely.

Yet to fire this season but conditions might well have been unsuitable in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood last time and he's been given a chance by the handicapper since.

Career best when winning 11-runner handicap at Thirsk in June and shaped better than the result when fifth at Hamilton next time. Doesn't have Oisin McSweeney's claim this time, though.

French recruit who landed two of his first three starts for this yard, then was likely undone by the testing conditions at Goodwood a fortnight ago. Firmly expected to get back on the up.

Rattled off a hat-trick in handicaps upon returning last summer and back to form of late, fourth in a competitive event at Goodwood last time, so expected to give another good account.

15:05 Newmarket - 14 August 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

FIRST FOLIO had something to spare when landing a competitive event at York on penultimate start and his latest effort is easily excused, so he's taken to resume winning ways on just his fifth outing for James Ferguson. Great Ambassador ran a blinder in the Stewards' Cup and is regarded as the main danger ahead of Premier Power.

  1. FIRST FOLIO
  2. GREAT AMBASSADOR
  3. PREMIER POWER
