Hard to draw any positives from his recent debut at York (6f, good) where he was beaten 25 lengths.

Looked in need of the run on Doncaster debut and duly stepped up on that when third at Lingfield (6f, AW) last month. Should make his presence felt.

Foaled February 14. Showcasing colt. Dam, 1½m/12.5f winner, half-sister to smart performer Indian Blessing. Yard occasionally strikes with newcomers, but this one may need more time and distance.

Bettered his rather disappointing initial effort when sixth in a 9-runner Newbury novice (7f, good to firm) 19 days ago. In good hands and it would be no surprise were he to take another step forward.

Showed more than he did first time out when mid-field in a 7f Doncaster novice (good to firm) recently. Still, he'll need to settle better this time if he's to play a leading role.

Signs of ability on his introduction and finished closer when fourth of 13 at Thirsk (6f, good to firm) next time. Likely to do better in time, particularly when faced with a stiffer test.

Yard no stranger to success with 2-y-os, but this one didn't show a great deal starting out in a Haydock novice (6f, good) and is probably more one for nurseries further down the line.

Foaled March 30. £6,000 yearling, £47,000 2-y-o, Tagula colt. Half-brother to useful 6f winner Probability. Dam unraced. Hails from a top yard and is one of the more interesting newcomers on show.

Foaled March 4. €38,000 foal, 50,000 gns yearling. Half-brother to 2-y-o 6f winner Grey Sparkle. Yard also saddles Scarlet Dancer and the betting should offer clues with regard to the pecking order.

Foaled February 14. €7,000 foal, £65,000 2-y-o. Dam French 9.5f winner out of smart winner up to 6f (2-y-o 5f winner) Don't Worry Me. Ravenglass is presumably the stable first-string.

Foaled April 27. 12,000 gns yearling. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f winner (barely stayed easy 1¼m) The Paddyman. Yard's newcomers typically come on for a run.

Foaled March 22. Dark Angel colt. Dam, 6f/7f winner, half-sister to very smart winner up to 6f Art Power. Jockey bookings would suggest that Sixstar is the stable No 1.

Left her opening run a long way behind when finding just one too good at Newcastle (7f) 11 days ago. Drop back in trip on this stiffer track shouldn't be an issue and she's an each-way player.

Looked badly in need of the experience when down the field on debut at Redcar (7f, good to firm), and she's probably more of a long-term project.

DR YOUMZAIN took a step forward when third on the all-weather at Lingfield and, if able to build on that now returned to turf, he could be the answer. Mark Johnston's charge is selected on the assumption that Skittlebombz, who is due to run at Nottingham on Tuesday, won't go to post. Hamaki is surely capable of better than he's shown thus far and is next best ahead of newcomer Rambuso Creek.

  1. DR YOUMZAIN (IRE)
  2. HAMAKI (IRE)
  3. RAMBUSO CREEK (IRE)
