Smart horse who has added an Ascot listed and Epsom Group 3 (both 1m) to tally this term. Best excused latest run over 6f on AW. Former C&D scorer. Has to concede upwards of 5 lb all round, though.

Winless since 2019 but good efforts for new yard when placed on 3 of his 4 starts this year, the latest when second in 7f York listed.

Looked a pattern-race winner in making when taking 2019 Stewards' Cup but he's failed to hit the same height since. Not disgraced in listed/Group 3 last twice bit needs more now stepping up in trip.

Progressed well in first season. Excellent third in Newbury Spring Cup on return and has had excuses both starts since. Possible this drop to 7f will suit. Not discounted under Norton.

Better than ever when winning 3 times last season, including a brace of Group 2s. Not close to his best in Lockinge at Newbury and John of Gaunt at Haydock this term but potential class act here.

A 3-y-o who is heading in the right direction, travelling well before edging ahead late on in 7f Newcastle handicap a fortnight ago. Can make mark at higher level but is drawn widest.

Had really come good for new yard in recent months, finding another jolt of improvement when easily completing a hat-trick (all on going softer than good) at Epsom 36 days ago. Contender up in grade.

The John Quinn team is going well so a chance is taken on SAFE VOYAGE bouncing back to form after a short break as last year's dual Group 2 winner is a potential class act at this level. Rhoscolyn and Oo de Lally are improving 3-y-os who should be capable of making an impact outside of handicaps, although the latter is drawn widest. Matthew Flinders may benefit from 7f so also merits respect.
