Dual winner of sprint handicaps last term who again ran well when runner-up at Catterick (5f) in May. Not seen to best effect at Windsor subsequently, so remains of interest.

Bounced back to her best to belatedly prove herself just as effective over 6f when winning 7-runner handicap at York 27 days ago, getting first run. 4 lb rise shouldn't prevent another good run.

Useful mare on AW who cashed in on a much-reduced turf mark at Windsor in May, responding well. Not well drawn when well held over C&D last time, so is not best judged on that run.

Catterick maiden winner (5f) who has resumed progress this season, relishing the underfoot conditions to win at Carlisle (5f) in May. Acquitted herself very well at York 4 weeks ago so merits respect.

Forecasts

Zim Baby (9/4), Ey Up It's Maggie (11/4), Shepherds Way (7/2), Fizzy Feet (4/1), Mountain Brave (9/1)

14:50 Chester - 10 July 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

EY UP IT'S MAGGIE acquitted herself very well a competitive 3-y-o only handicap at York 4 weeks ago and makes plenty of appeal now back amongst her elders. Zim Baby wasn't seen to best effect at Windsor last time having done too much too soon and is worth treating as if still in top form.

  1. EY UP IT'S MAGGIE
  2. ZIM BABY
  3. SHEPHERDS WAY (IRE)
