Fair form shown on first two starts over hurdles, but pulled up on each of his last 2 starts switched to handicaps during the spring. Goes chasing on back of a wind op now, so one to note in betting.

Temperamental sort who refused to race in a Uttoxeter handicap chase (3m) when last seen for Richard Phillips in September. Understandably needs treating with caution on return for new yard.

Boasts just the one win over hurdles but he did offer more than previously over fences when midfield in a 15-runner handicap here (23f) 18 days ago. Drop back in trip a plus on that run.

Resumed winning ways (left clear at last) in 5-runner handicap chase at Taunton (18.2f) in April. Decent second here (16.5f) next time and whilst below best at Newton Abbot, he's not dismissed here.

Twice a runner-up from higher marks over fences last season, though he wasn't seeing his races out when last seen during the spring. Short break subsequently may have perked him up.

Best effort over hurdles when second at Huntingdon (20.6f) in May. Got no further than the first on chase bow at Market Rasen (19f) (sent off at 2/1) 12 days ago but worth another chance.

Point winner but little form over hurdles and poor form at best in this sphere, well held in first-time blinkers over 23f here 18 days ago. Needs to step up to play a part. Cheekpieces on.

Forecasts

Regaby (11/4), Orsino (11/4), Caro Des Flos (5/1), Royal Plaza (13/2), Conceal (10/1), Golden Poet (12/1), Chief Sittingbull (12/1), Royal Chant (16/1), Gentleman Moore (28/1)

13:55 Worcester - 30 June 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A very trappy handicap with the tentative vote in favour of REGABY. He got no further than the first on chase debut at Market Rasen earlier this month but he was strong in the betting on that occasion and, having ran well over hurdles prior to that, he's worth another chance in this sphere. Royal Plaza and Caro des Flos head up the dangers, whilst Conceal demands a market check.

  1. REGABY (IRE)
  2. ROYAL PLAZA
  3. CARO DES FLOS (FR)
