Sole success thus far came back in 2019. Been rather hit and miss since, disappointing on chase debut at Hereford and also same story with blinkers on at Warwick.

Off the mark for Tom Lacey at Southwell in August and even better form in defeat next 3 starts. Let down by jumping at Taunton in October but remains of interest back from a break for new yard.

Improved when head second of 11 on handicap hurdle debut at Exeter (18.5f, good to firm) last month, outbattled by a more experienced rival. Up 8 lb but she may do better again up in trip.

Hurdle winner for Paul Nicholls but looked tricky at times and cemented that impression when running out at Perth on yard debut in July. Well held twice since and others have more solid profiles.

Decisive-enough winner at Perth in July but the handicapper has looked in charge since. Sound third at Wincanton last month.

Got his head back in front over hurdles at Wetherby (3m) last month. Predictably not in the same form at Warwick next time and also well held on chase debut.

Most promising run yet when a keeping-on seventh on handicap debut at Warwick in March. More to come as stamina is unlocked.

Forecasts

Merry Berry (6/4), Regaby (9/2), Jamessaintpatrick (9/2), Harbour Force (13/2), Train Hill (8/1), Bridey's Lettuce (12/1), Christopher Robin (20/1), Southfield Torr (25/1), Lord Howard (100/1)

15:50 Huntingdon - 31 May 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

MERRY BERRY displayed improved form when just touched off on handicap debut at Exeter last month. With that race working out well and this step back up in trip promising to suit, she's a very appealing candidate, with the booking of a good-value conditional the icing on the cake. Christopher Robin is a threat starting ouf for a new yard, with Regaby also interesting.

  1. MERRY BERRY
  2. CHRISTOPHER ROBIN (IRE)
  3. REGABY (IRE)
