Some promise in mares' maiden/novice events and shaped better than being pulled up suggests at Chepstow (23.6f, heavy) in January, seeming to find test too much. Not one to write off.

Winning pointer who arrives on the back of an eye-catching fourth in a 15-runner C&D handicap in March, noted finishing with running left. One to be interested in on that evidence.

Multiple point winner and easily best effort under Rules when fourth of 14 in handicap chase at Hexham (3m) in April, albeit jumping awkwardly. Not ruled out back over hurdles on the back of that.

Course winner who made light of a 15-month absence to double career tally in good style at Perth (3m) last month. 6 lb rise looks fair and claims of getting involved with a repeat.

Successful between the flags, but efforts under Rules so far have been uninspiring, fitting of a first-time visor failing to bring about improvement at Uttoxeter last summer. Absent since.

Offered little in handful of hurdle outings back in 2018 and boasts only one win from 15 starts between the flags. Well held third when last seen in March 2020. Starts out for new yard now.

Very low-key start for present stable but latest Uttoxeter second equipped with blinkers/ridden more prominently was easily his best effort over hurdles to date. Now his task is to back that up.

Much improved when successful from basement mark at Kelso (20.8f) in March. Disappointed next 2 starts and his latest Sedgefield fifth was only a respectable display.

Plenty arrive with claims and it may pay to take a chance on MAGNIFICENT BEN. He showed more than previously and shaped well to boot when fourth in a C&D event in March, noted finishing with running left, and it's highly likely he has more to offer moving forward. Comfortable Perth scorer Taras Day and Classic Ruler are a couple of others to consider.

  1. MAGNIFICENT BEN (IRE)
  2. TARAS DAY
  3. CLASSIC RULER
