Doyen gelding who shaped encouragingly on belated Rules debut when second at Warwick but failed to progress a month later at Ludlow. Clearly not been the easiest to train but it's still early days.

Some promise in bumpers but ran to just a modest level when second in a small-field maiden hurdle at Plumpton on debut in this sphere in 2019. Looked rusty on return last month so lots more needed.

Lightly-raced winner in points who looked set to make a winning start over hurdles when falling at Hereford in March. Ran well when runner-up last month and this step back up in trip will suit.

Oscar gelding who showed ability whilst looking rather headstrong when third of 8 in bumper at Bangor (16.7f, heavy, 15/2) on NH debut. Off 6 months. Hood on for hurdles debut. Up in trip.

Well held in Wincanton bumpers but showed more upped markedly in trip when sixth of 14 in novice hurdle at Warwick (21f, good) on hurdles bow 37 days ago. Entitled to do better.

Forecasts

Hurling Magic (1/1), Raffle Ticket (5/4), What (12/1), Young William (20/1), Mr Perfect (33/1)

12:50 Huntingdon - 6 May 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

RAFFLE TICKET was just edged out by a speedier type when finishing runner-up at Warwick last month. This represents a fine opportunity for him to get his head in front back up in trip and he may prove tough to beat. Hurling Magic failed to progress from his Rules debut at Ludlow 6 weeks ago and he may have to settle for his third second placed finish in a row, ahead of Young William.
