Dual point winner who raised his game when opening Rules account at the eleventh attempt in 24.2f Exeter handicap chase recently. 3 lb rise fair and another bold show anticipated.

Signed off 2019/20 campaign on a winning note at Exeter (all 3 chase wins have been gained there). Rare poor effort back from a break in March and easy to envisage him bouncing back.

Just 1-18 over hurdles and yet to strike over fences, but has finished second on 2 of his 4 starts in this sphere, including over C&D in August. Place possibilities if tuned-up following a break.

Dual hurdles winner who posted respectable efforts in that sphere at Ffos Las and Worcester back from a break last month. However, he was well beaten on sole start over fences in October.

Hit the target twice in April 2018, but majority of his subsequent efforts have been poor and while his latest effort at Taunton was fair, others make more appeal on this occasion.

Has only hinted at ability in bumpers/over hurdles to this point, and sizeable step forward needed now upped in trip for this chase debut.

In good form since equipped with cheekpieces, deservedly getting his head back in front at Chepstow (19.4f) last time. 5 lb rise tolerable and step back up in trip no issue with conditions to suit.

Out of sorts in recent months, but the handicapper has shown mercy. Indeed, he's now 17 lb lower compared to when finishing second at Taunton (21.7f) in November, so there's cause for optimism.

Just the one win to his name from 37 starts, which was in a Stratford maiden hurdle back in 2016. Went close in a Fontwell handicap chase in September, but well below that in 2 subsequent outings.

Fairly encouraging start over fences when third at Ludlow in November, but it'd be something of an understatement to say that he's failed to build on that since. Debut for new yard.

Last-time-out winners STAY OUT OF COURT and Fact Flow are the obvious starting points. The latter has done well since fitted with cheekpieces and there's every reason to expect that he'll again be in the mix. However, marginal preference is for Adrian Wintle's charge, who remains on an attractive mark following a 3 lb rise for his recent Exeter success. Write It Down is also worth considering.

  1. STAY OUT OF COURT (IRE)
  2. FACT FLOW (IRE)
  3. WRITE IT DOWN (IRE)
