Richmond winner at Goodwood who took it up another notch when rounding off his juvenile campaign with ½ length defeat of Lucky Vega in Group 1 Middle Park at Newmarket. Tough to beat despite penalty.

Improved again to bag 7f listed event on Lingfield return and not seen to best effect (met trouble) when fourth (Mighty Gurkha second) over 6f on AW Finals day since. Dual turf winner last year.

Very useful front-runner who won an AW Group 3 last autumn and arrives here on the back of 3 good efforts on AW, the latest when second on AW Finals day at Lingfield.

Quickly established himself as a useful handicapper, completing hat-trick at Newcastle (7f) in January. Development has stalled since though, and this is a tough ask back on the grass.

Highly-progressive AW performer, winning 4 times over the winter. Caught too far back when fifth in Newmarket handicap last time, offering enough to suggest he'll prove fully effective on turf.

7f Newbury listed winner at 2 and stepped up on even that form when close second under big weight in 16-runner handicap on reappearance there 12 days ago. Bang there if as effective at shorter trip.

Drew a blank in 4 starts at 2 but did show useful form when second in Acomb at York. Landed short odds in 6f Pontefract novice on return but much more on plate now jumping back up to a Group 3.

Useful form when second in C&D Group 3 last July but well below that level on final 2 starts. Even a return to her very best unlikely to be enough on reappearance. Has had a second wind op.

SUPREMACY's Middle Park success last autumn marks him down as a leading candidate for top sprinting honours this year and he can set himself up nicely for the season by successfully conceding weight all round. Saint Lawrence produced a really smart effort in a warm Newbury handicap on his reappearance and may provide the chief threat.

  1. SUPREMACY (IRE)
  2. SAINT LAWRENCE (IRE)
  3. ROHAAN (IRE)
