The progressive POPMASTER went close in what looked a strong 3-y-o handicap at Pontefract and remains of interest off 3 lb higher. Seven Brothers found the Gimcrack at York too tough on his final start, but his opening mark looks a fair one and he can make his presence felt, along with Whenthedealinsdone, who looks a useful prospect.
