Made an excellent start when beating a couple of now-useful sorts at Doncaster. Failed to make an impact in the St Leger next time but defied a penalty in novice at Ascot. Back up in class.

Forecasts

Al Aasy (6/4), Kipps (5/1), Deja (5/1), Without A Fight (7/1), Outbox (8/1), Euchen Glen (18/1), Tyson Fury (20/1), Red Verdon (20/1), Punting (300/1)

13:35 Newbury - 18 April 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

DEJA wasn't seen to best effect in the Ebor when last seen but he took his form to another level prior to that, runner-up at Royal Ascot before a decisive winner of the Old Newton Cup at Haydock, and is well worth a shot at this grade. Al Aasy scored at this level as a 3-y-o and is the type to do better again this season, while the race-fit Outbox arrives in top form.

  1. DEJA (FR)
  2. AL AASY (IRE)
  3. OUTBOX
