Won his sole start over hurdles in France in 2018 and best effort for this yard when fourth of 12 at Stratford (2m) in March. That was his first start for 3 months and he may yet step up again.

Fairly useful hurdler who went close to adding to the tally at Musselburgh (26f) in February. Hold up tactics didn't seem to suit at Kelso (25.7f) recently and best treated as still in form.

Has improved again for new yard during the autumn, winning twice at up to 20f. Fit from Flat and not disgraced over an inadequate 2m at Fakenham last month and this more suitable.

Multiple hurdles winner who doubled chase tally at Haydock (2m) in December. However, well held over fences/hurdles since the turn of the year and bounce back called for here.

Lightly raced 6-y-o who continued theme of gradual progress when landing 16-runner Cork maiden hurdle (20f) last month, asserting run in. Looks a little quirky but he may do better still. Player.

Looked promising when winning first 3 starts for this yard in 2018/19, but disappointing since, again failing to beat a rival on the back of a wind op at Kelso (22.3f) in March.

Hurdles winner who stepped up on previous efforts this term when third at Catterick (25.3f) on his penultimate start. Again proved disappointing last time, though.

Successful from this mark in this race 2 years ago. Arrives having performed with credit (in face of stiff tasks) over fences and no surprise to see a good showing back in a handicap.

Four-time hurdle winner during 2019 who confirmed return to form when 3.5 lengths second of 9 at Hexham (2m) 18 days ago. Yet to taste success over this far but claims of hitting the frame nonetheless

Showed ability in novice hurdles and, on the back of a wind op, rather disconcerting he failed to see his race out on handicap bow last month. Would need to see market support to make him of interest.

An interesting race with several holding claims including GLENTRUAN. He continued his theme of race-by-race progress over hurdles when successful in a Cork maiden over this trip in March and he may yet do better again now his sights are set on handicaps. Floating Rock, Deniliquin and 2019 winner Castletown head up the dangers, in that order.

  1. GLENTRUAN (IRE)
  2. FLOATING ROCK (GER)
  3. DENILIQUIN (IRE)
