Fairly useful at best on the Flat for Mark Johnston. First form over hurdles when 6 lengths sixth of 9 in Newbury juvenile 19 days ago, once again not helping cause by taking strong hold.

Showed ability for Charlie Appleby on the Flat and placed first 3 starts in this sphere. Heavy ground perhaps to blame for poor run at Taunton when last seen in January. One of more likely types.

Forecasts

Ambassador (2/1), Wise Glory (3/1), State Crown (7/2), Kamaxos (10/1), Warranty (10/1), Salamanca School (11/1), Storming Carlos (20/1), Pawpaw (22/1), Jen's Fella (28/1), One Last Glance (66/1), Scarlet Ruby (250/1)

15:20 Hereford - 24 March 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

WISE GLORY faded out of things in a listed event at Musselburgh on his hurdle debut but might be worth another chance to translate his useful Flat ability to this discipline with his sights lowered. Ambassador has the best form so is the one most likely to capitalise should the selection fail to deliver. State Crown looks best of the rest.

  1. WISE GLORY (IRE)
  2. AMBASSADOR (IRE)
  3. STATE CROWN (IRE)
