11/4
Fairly useful form when dual scorer over hurdles last winter. Yet to match that form over fences but has shown some promise, tenderly-handled fourth at Warwick last time. Player off reduced mark.

Winner at Fontwell in August and back on track when fourth of 14 in 3m handicap chase at Exeter in November having been set a lot to do. Can race off 2 lb lower mark now, so considered after a break.

Fair maiden hurdler at his best but lightly raced nowadays and offered little after wind op/16 months off in Southwell handicap 15 days ago. Goes chasing now with lots to prove.

Opened his account over C&D in November and in good form after until pulled up in the mud at Market Rasen handicap in January. Since had wind op so could easily bounce back after his break.

Winning pointer who cut little ice over hurdles before (125/1) remote fifth over C&D on his chasing bow after nearly 3 years off the track. Easily opposed.

Still seeking a first career win, but he arrives in very good nick over hurdles, second at Plumpton last month. Can't be discounted now sent over fences.

Successful sole start in points but just poor form in three runs over hurdles. Chasing type so no forlorn hope now going chasing with cheekpieces added.

Remains a maiden after 20 runs, and well-below par fifth over C&D on last completed start. Hard to make a case for.

Modest maiden hurdler/chaser who is hard to catch right and was off the bridle a long way out when modest fourth at Leicester last month. Others are more appealing.

Multiple point winner but form under Rules doesn't amount to much, cheekpieces on when remote fifth at Wincanton 12 days ago. Visor reached for now and easy to look elsewhere.

Forecasts

Ladronne (11/4), Wye Aye (7/2), First Assembly (7/2), Seaside Girl (8/1), Kaphumor (10/1), Leskinfere (12/1), Watar Allstar (14/1), Three Bullet Gate (16/1), Ballintara (28/1), Florella (33/1)

13:00 Huntingdon - 23 March 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A case can be made for a few but the most persuasive one is for dual hurdles winner LADRONNE who has slipped in the weights and is taken to build on the promise of his Warwick chasing fourth. Seaside Girl wasn't seen to best effect when fourth at Exeter so rates a big threat after her break, with Wye Aye also sure to be in the mix if stepping forward after a wind op.

  1. LADRONNE (FR)
  2. SEASIDE GIRL (IRE)
  3. WYE AYE
