Bounced back from an underwhelming chase debut to win over C&D in December, leading near the finish. Huge disappointment at Wincanton next time but worth another chance with headgear applied.

Fairly-useful bumper winner who is a free goer over hurdles, but well prepared to make a successful reappearance at Hereford. Just respectable efforts in handicaps since and now goes chasing.

Bumper/hurdle winner. Looks a fragile sort who shaped as if needing the run after 14 months off here 3 weeks ago, prominent in the betting but encountering gruelling conditions. Makes chase debut.

Winning pointer who left hurdles form behind when making a winning handicap/chase debut at Catterick 3 weeks ago, looking a long way head of his mark. Step up in trip will suit so more to come.

Multiple point winner but well held in novice hurdles at Taunton/Wincanton this term. Ran as well as could have been expected in face of a very stiff task on chase debut at Exeter. Handicap bow.

Fair 22f winner over hurdles who hinted at promise on only second run over fences when third of 8 in 19f handicap at Chepstow 82 days ago. May do better still, so not dismissed.

Fair hurdler in Ireland and winner of a maiden point in October. Shaped better than bare result on chase debut for new yard at Taunton (27f) and dropping back in trip looks a good move.

Forecasts

Crypto (5/2), Silver In Disguise (4/1), Keep Rolling (4/1), Pride Of Lecale (5/1), Supreme Escape (13/2), Dunbar (18/1), Ostuni (20/1), Minimalistic (25/1), Cushuish (28/1), Dawn Sunrise (200/1)

14:27 Chepstow - 25 February 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

It could be worth chancing DUNBAR, who shaped well on his chase/yard debut at Taunton and the drop back in trip will suit. Silver In Disguise is the obvious threat after his impressive handicap/chase debut win at Catterick, while C&D winner Supreme Escape is worth another chance having failed to meet expectations at Wincanton.

  1. DUNBAR (FR)
  2. SILVER IN DISGUISE
  3. SUPREME ESCAPE (IRE)
