Barely hinted at ability in a couple of bumpers and similar story in this sphere so far. Hopes pinned on this step up in trip/switch to handicap company sparking significant improvement.

Off the mark in 2½m Sedgefield handicap hurdle on final run of last season. Well held first 2 starts this time round, but there were more positives signs at Uttoxeter last time and he merits respect.

Expensive to follow on the whole, winless since landing a Wincanton novice 3 years ago. Still, both efforts since returning form a 15-month layoff have been respectable and he's one to consider.

Best effort when fourth of 17 in 21.6f handicap at Exeter in December. Not in same form over the same C&D last month, but this slight drop in trip may help and this 6-y-o isn't without hope.

Signs of ability on hurdles debut at Uttoxeter in October. Little impact in 2 subsequent starts, but it's certainly not beyond the realms of possibility that she'll fare better now handicapping.

Useful handicapper at best on Flat, but yet to trouble the judge in this sphere and it's hard to envisage him playing a leading role here.

Has returned an improved model for new yard, landing a 2½m Fakenham handicap before hitting the crossbar at Wincanton and most recently at Plumpton. Another bold show on the cards.

Step back in the right direction when sixth of 16 in first-time blinkers at Catterick (19.3f) recently and, now 1 lb lower than when scoring at Newcastle last January, she has to enter calculations.

Point winner who caught the eye when fifth of 11 on penultimate start at Market Rasen. However, disappointing when sent off favourite at Catterick since and it's probably best to look elsewhere.

Though he has proved expensive to follow, EMBOLE has shown enough in his 2 starts since returning from a lay-off to suggest that a race of this nature should be within reach. The in-form Sawpit Sienna is likely to be in the thick of things once more and she is feared most. Seapoint also enters calculations and handicap-debutante Legendary Rhythm is one to note in the betting.

  1. EMBOLE (FR)
  2. SAWPIT SIENNA
  3. SEAPOINT (IRE)
