10/3, built on debut promise when readily landing 10-runner minor event at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 18 days ago, keeping on strongly despite running green in front. Has more to offer, and the one to beat.

Cannock Chase filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 6f winner Sir Thomas Gresham. Other newcomers appeal more on breeding so she faces no easy introduction.

Forecasts

Kestenna (5/4), Colour Of Light (13/8), Elvic (3/1), Light Of Thunder (16/1), Arenas Del Tiempo (25/1), Marsden Cross (50/1), Thunder Lily (125/1), Bagatelle (150/1), The Yellow Mini (150/1), Moonlet (150/1), Quella Cosa (150/1), Tobie Jones (200/1)

15:25 Kempton - 16 February 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

KESTENNA was well on top at the finish when scoring at Wolverhampton last month so John Gosden's filly is hard to oppose unless the betting speaks very much in favour of Charlie Appleby's well-bred Shamardal newcomer Colour of Light. Elvic has more to offer now she goes up in trip so appeals as the pick of the remainder.

  1. KESTENNA
  2. COLOUR OF LIGHT (IRE)
  3. ELVIC
