Big money buy from Irish points and made it 2-3 in this sphere when landing a 24.3f Southwell novice last month. Remains open to improvement and another bold show anticipated.

Bought for £130,000 after winning an Irish point in October and accounted for his 4 rivals in 25.5f Hereford novice on Rules debut last month. This is much tougher, but he's clearly very promising.

Modest maiden on the Flat and he's very difficult to warm to on this hurdles debut.

Dual point winner who showed more than on his Rules debut when fifth in a 14-runner Wincanton novice last month. However, huge step forward needed if he's trouble the principals here.

Point winner who shaped well when runner-up on hurdling bow at Newbury last term. Disappointing since, though, including on return over fences at that Berkshire venue in November. Cheekpieces applied.

Fair form in two runs over hurdles, off 11 months prior to finishing fourth of 6 in 2½m novice at Aintree in November. Still, better opportunities are likely to be found in handicaps in due course.

Barbados Buck's (2/1), The Domino Effect (3/1), Bobhopeornohope (3/1), Fedelta (9/2), It Sure Is (6/1), Undersupervision (10/1), Welsh's Castle (12/1), Slipway (20/1), Gallow Ford (66/1), Ezzrah (300/1)

12:35 Kempton - 9 January 2021 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

This stiffer test promises to suit BOBHOPEORNOHOPE, who had plenty in hand when making it 2-2 over hurdles at Doncaster and he is marginally preferred to the similarly promising Barbados Buck's. It would be unwise to underestimate Welsh's Castle on the back of his improved effort at Uttoxeter, while The Domino Effect also merits respect and Undersupervision is something of an unknown quantity.
