Fair form over hurdles winning 9-runner claimer at Pau (18.9f) in May but went with no immediate encouragement starting out for new connections over this C&D last month. More needed to feature.

Promising start when third in heavy-ground Chepstow bumper for Dan Skelton a year ago but went backwards from that on yard debut following wind surgery in October. Upped in trip for hurdles bow.

Half-brother to yard's hurdle winners Multellie and Bollin Judith. Dual winner in the mud on the Flat in October but was in need of the experience on hurdling debut at Sedgefield earlier this month.

Fairly winning stayer on Flat who hinted at promise after 15 months off in a couple of novice hurdles at Hexham in October. Seemingly being brought along gradually so others preferred today.

Twice-raced winner in points and shaped with plenty of encouragement on hurdling debut when third of 13 in novice at this C&D (good to soft) last month. Should progress and is high on the shortlist.

€12,000 3-y-o, Cloudings gelding. Minor promise when tenth of 14 in bumper at this course (15.7f, good to soft) on NH debut 25 days ago and attentions quickly turned to hurdling upped in trip.

Maiden pointer who showed a bit more than on hurdling debut when fourth at Sedgefield 11 days ago. Handicaps likely to be his thing down the line.

Fair form on first start in bumpers at Sedgefield over year ago but ran no sort of race on his hurdling debut after 11 months off there 10 weeks ago (found to have bled).

Half-sister to a bumper winner but little show in a couple of races earlier this year. Makes hurdles/yard debut after 9 months off and can't be recommended on what she's shown so far.

Sister to fairly useful hurdler Penny Mallow and fair hurdler Kapga de Lily. Showed ability when third in Warwick bumper on debut and every chance she can make her presence felt here.

12:50 Catterick - 15 December 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

AFRICAN DANCE gets the vote to double his tally over obstacles having confirmed the promise of his hurdling debut when scoring at Sedgefield last month. With further improvement a distinct possibility, he could be tough to beat. Cooper's Cross rates as an obvious danger after his promising debut third over C&D last month, while Hello Sunshine is respected on her hurdles bow.
