25/1
Useful sort who ended last term with fine second in the Kim Muir Chase. Looked rusty on Fakenham return and went well for a long way despite being pulled up at Cheltenham (25f) latest (finished tired)

Progressive over hurdles and promise over fences last term without getting his head in front. Right back to best when defying 7 lb lower mark on return at Plumpton and there may well be more to come.

Likeable type who proved better than ever when scoring at Perth (20f) in September. Hard to knock his consistency since, good fifth in Old Roan Chase latest. Should give another good account.

9/1
Dual novice chase winner in 2018 who clearly retains his ability judged on his fourth in a listed handicap at Wetherby (19.4f) in October (on back of 23 months off). Mark looks workable.

Enjoyed a productive summer during 2019 and far from disgraced on 2 of his 3 starts in recent months. Mark has eased further ahead of debut for new yard and interesting what the market makes of him.

Dual novice chase winner who remains low-mileage over fences and, on the back of some good placed efforts on the Flat, he ran right up to best in this sphere when third at Wetherby recently. Claims.

Impressive winner over fences at Haydock (19f) in spring 2019 but mixed bag on 2 of his 3 starts thereafter. Possible his Newbury return was needed 3 weeks ago but not sure to build on that.

Course winner who didn't fire last term but confirmed himself back on his game when 3.5 lengths third at Wetherby (15f) from his reduced mark last month, keeping on. This greater test may suit now.

Low-mileage 7-y-o who made good start over fences last term, off the mark in a C&D novices' handicap in January. Creditable second on Bangor return in September and not ruled out with cheekpieces on.

Forecasts

Dr Sanderson (11/4), Pogue (4/1), Barton Knoll (11/2), Cracking Find (13/2), Nietzsche (7/1), The Unit (9/1), Cracking Destiny (10/1), Kilfilum Cross (25/1), Royal Village (25/1)

13:25 Doncaster - 27 November 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

DR SANDERSON showed promise during a winless 2019/20 season over fences and confirmed himself back to his very best when making a successful return at Plumpton in October. This is tougher but the manner of that victory suggests there may be more to come and he earns the vote. Nietzsche remains low-mileage as a chaser and ran well latest so he is respected, along with Cracking Destiny and Pogue.

  1. DR SANDERSON (IRE)
  2. NIETZSCHE
  3. CRACKING DESTINY (IRE)
