Veteran who proved better than ever when landing back-to-back handicap chases at up to 19.8f last winter. Unable to dominate and not in same form at Fakenham final start and more needed on return.

Much-improved model for the switch to chasing this year, adding a third success to his tally at Ffos Las (2m) in October (on back of wind op). Good second behind fellow improver since. Not discounted

Maiden who displayed better signs in handicaps over hurdles earlier this year. Looked tapped for speed on return/chase debut over C&D though, and best efforts have come on testing ground.

Dual chase winner in Ireland who boasts a mixed record for present stable. However, better display from sliding mark when third over hurdles at Plumpton (20.5f) latest. Now he needs to build on that.

Irish point winner who landed gamble from reduced mark at Wincanton (25.1f, good to soft) in November. Not in same form up 5 lb/faced with testing ground at Chepstow latest but not one to write off.

Ended losing run stretching back almost 4 years at Plumpton (19.7f) at the start of the month, landing a weak race. 3 lb higher in a stronger affair now.
