Successful on sole outing in Irish points, but efforts under Rules to date have been underwhelming. Worth a market check for new yard.

Won Warwick bumper in September and improved on second start over hurdles when going close over 2m here (soft) a fortnight ago. Further progress likely now upped in trip for this handicap debut.

Left tame reappearance well behind in first-time cheekpieces when scoring at Fontwell (21.7f, soft) in October. However, not in the same form back there 10 days ago and he's opposable on balance.

Runner-up 3 times over fences last term, but ran a moody race on last month's Uttoxeter reappearance. Hopes pinned on combination of a first-time visor/return to this sphere sparking a revival.

Looked an improved model when making a successful return/handicap debut over C&D (soft) 2 weeks ago. 5 lb rise fair enough and it's not hard to envisage this 5-y-o putting up another bold show.

Improved when runner-up in a Fontwell handicap on last season's reappearance. However, failed to match that form next time and entitled to need the run following 11 months off.

Forecasts

Midnight Glance (15/8), Jungle Prose (4/1), Black Centaur (9/2), Etat Major Aulmes (6/1), Andapa (13/2), Good News (7/1), Brandy Cross (9/1), Reallyradical (11/1), Ding Ding (11/1), Trans Express (25/1), Norman The Red (50/1), Rebel Collins (66/1)

14:50 Plumpton - 16 November 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

There should be better to come from JUNGLE PROSE now faced with a stiffer test and pitched into a handicap for the first time. Indeed, she did well to finish as close as she did when runner-up in a 2m novice here last time, which was just her second start in this sphere. Midnight Glance got the better of Andapa in a C&D handicap on the same card a fortnight ago and is the clear main danger.

  1. JUNGLE PROSE (IRE)
  2. MIDNIGHT GLANCE
  3. ANDAPA (FR)
