Proved a totally different proposition after a breathing op (also in tongue tie) when winning 2m Ludlow maiden in February. Was found out in a better race at Stratford and now tries handicaps.

Justified good support on the back of a second win operation/18 months off in 11-runner handicap hurdle at Wetherby (2m) 26 days ago. Not short of physical scope, so should take to chasing.

Opened his account in decisive fashion in 2m novice at Wetherby in January and very much appeals as the type to make a better chaser (winning Irish pointer). Opening mark could prove lenient.

Still searching for a first win over fences but ran another fine race when third of 11 in handicap chase at Wetherby (15.2f) on last month's return. Should remain competitive off his current mark.

Fairly useful 2m winning hurdler who offered something to work on sent chasing when third in Tramore maiden (21f) in July. Left Gordon Elliott for £32,000 later that month and is entitled to improve.

Getaway gelding who showed a good attitude to land 12-runner Taunton novice hurdle (19f) in January. Not disgraced under a penalty at Exeter the following month and ought to make a chaser.

Anemoi (5/2), Garry Clermont (16/5), Coconut Splash (4/1), Vado Forte (6/1), Glajou (8/1), Financier (14/1), Shut The Box (14/1), Crealion (18/1), Butterwick Brook (20/1), Zambezi Fix (80/1)

15:10 Chepstow - 9 November 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

COCONUT SPLASH is a lightly-raced winning hurdler who very much appeals as the type to make a better chaser given his pointing background, so he's strongly fancied to prove his opening mark in this sphere a lenient one. Garry Clermont was perhaps unlucky not to win on his Carlisle chasing bow and rates a sure-fire improver, while Anemoi also has the physical scope to take well to fences.

  1. COCONUT SPLASH (IRE)
  2. GARRY CLERMONT (FR)
  3. ANEMOI (FR)
