Pretty useful over timber for Willie Mullins but finishing effort did lack conviction on occasions, as was the case on chase debut. Had a wind op and tongue tied starting out for Paul Nicholls.

Maiden/novice winner around this time last year and better than ever in a visor when second in the EBF Final at Kempton in March. Built for chasing, so he's of real interest on reappearance.

Fairly useful 2m hurdler, for all he didn't look totally straightforward, but he made a smooth transition to chasing at Carlisle a month ago. 4 lb rise looks very fair.

Near-useful hurdler who ended time in Ireland with a pair of creditable efforts in maiden chase contests at up to 3m. Type new yard could do well with and worth a second look in betting.

A good-looking novice in prospect. with chase debutant SEVARANO the most persuasive option. He ended last season on the up over hurdles, a runner-up effort in the EBF Final at Kempton in March useful form and he possesses the physique to excel over fences. Flegmatik made the perfect start to his chase career at Carlisle and is feared most, though Mahlervous warrants a second look.
