Found only one too good in a bumper and got off the mark at the fourth attempt over hurdles in a novice at Taunton 7 months ago. Might struggle to give weight to a couple of talented rivals, though.

Returned from a year off to win at Musselburgh in January (final start for Nicky Richards) but the bare form is nothing special and he was amiss subsequently. Switched to hurdling after 7 months off.

Fairly useful hurdler who opened his account in this sphere in a race that fell apart behind him at Chepstow a couple of days ago. Obvious claims if he takes his chance.

Fair Mix gelding who was only fifth in a bumper at Uttoxeter 33 days ago but is out of a winning hurdler, so he should take to it. Likely to need more time.

Dual Irish point winner from an excellent jumps family and made a pleasing start under Rules when third in a strong novice at Exeter 7 months ago. Makes plenty of appeal.

Brother to fairly useful hurdler Midnight Midge. Better effort under Rules when seventh in a novice at this course on hurdling/stable but looks more of a slow burner.

Stratford bumper winner in August but that as a weak affair and looks one for handicaps on early evidence in this sphere.

Shirocco gelding who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut in a bumper at Hereford 10 months ago. Type to take to jumping but this isn't a straightforward first assignment.

Bred to do well over obstacles but only mild encouragement in bumpers and a novice hurdle to date. More of a handicap type.

HONEST EXCHANGE has won twice between the flags and made a positive start under Rules when third at Exeter 7 months ago. The drop in trip isn't necessarily in his favour but, assuming Flic Ou Voyou doesn't partake, he should have enough to take this. Stormy Flight is a danger and The Mick Preston strikes as an appealing hurdling debutant.
