Stepped up on last season's efforts in maiden/novice company when second on return/handicap debut at Fontwell (21.8f) last month. Tongue strap now enlised and he should benefit from this stiffer test.

Shaped as if retaining ability when respectable fourth of 13 over C&D in August. Excuses back here last time and, now 3 lb lower, he's in with an each-way shout. Tongue strap applied.

Much improved when landing 3m Clonmel handicap hurdle on final run for previous yard in February. However, no show both starts since crossing the Irish Sea and he's hard to warm to.

Fine effort when runner-up on debut for this yard following a lengthy absence at Fakenham in January. Misfired at Huntingdon the following month, though, and now 0-17 under Rules.

Showed improved form to double her tally after 7 months over C&D in July. Lost little caste in defeat when third at Market Rasen next time and claims if first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect.

Below par on return at Market Rasen in July, but back to form following wind surgery when a clear second at Fontwell (21.8f) recently. Remains on a potentially handy mark and she needs considering.

Has taken steps forward the last twice, hitting the crossbar at Fontwell prior to going one better at Newton Abbot (21.6f). 6 lb rise tolerable, but this is a tougher assignment.

The switch to handicap company/fitting of blinkers (discarded here) failed to spark improvement when last seen at Huntingdon in January. Readily passed over.

No better than mid-field on each of his 3 starts last year and probably best watched here on the back of a 16-month layoff.

Decent placed efforts on his last 3 starts (all over fences), most recently finishing third at Huntingdon (23.6f) in January. However, previous efforts in this sphere have lacked spark.

Without a win following 7 attempts between the flags and no real impact in 4 starts under Rules. Sizeable step forward required now pitched into a handicap.

Good placed efforts over this C&D on 2 of his 4 starts since returning to action in July, but he's 0-19 overall and needs to find improvement from somewhere.

The vote goes to OUR ROCKSTAR, who returned to form on the back of a wind operation when hitting the crossbar at Fontwell last time. She remains on an attractive mark, despite going up 6 lb, and has conditions in her favour. Pens Man represents an in-form yard and is feared most with further improvement possible over this new trip. Hello Fellas and Viking Ruby are others to consider.
