In a race in which those with hurdle experience don't set the bar too high a chance is taken on Henry de Bromhead newcomer DEFAN. Last season's Wexford bumper winner Song of Earth is another who could well now switching to hurdles on his return. Gordon Elliott's Elusive Gigolo showed promise on the first of 2 runs in bumpers and also merits respect.
