The Jessica Harrington-trained Ancient Spirit has been in the form of his life this year & only found one too good behind an upwardly-mobile rival at this track last month. He looks a solid bet to finish in the frame but he may be vulnerable to more lightly raced types in the shape of Fiscal Rules & ETNEYA. The former has his sights lowered a bit after running respectably in a pair of Irish Classics, but preference is for the sole filly in the field. Dermot Weld's charge receives weight from all her rivals and the filly she slammed on debut has came out and won since. Her trainer would not be chucking her into this if he didn't think she was more than capable.
