Cost £32,000 as a three-year-old. Played no part on debut when 33L last of seven at Galway (2m) last month and needs big improvement on that.
Two mixed efforts in point-to-points but ran really well when second on rules bow in Gowran bumper (2m) last month. Every chance he can improve once more. Respected.
€8,000 three-year-old. Dam was a point winner but well beaten on the track, out of maiden half-sister to high-class Bacchanal. Pedigree isn't of much note so best watched.
Placed on second point-to-point start and shaped well for a long way when third on rules bow at Gowran (2m4f) last month. Back down in trip with solid claims.
Dylan Thomas gelding. Poor on debut starts but fared marginally better when 17L sixth at Tramore (2m) in late July. Will need significant improvement to land a blow.

€40,000 three-year-old. Dam was unraced but related to Italian winners Small But Fast (6f) and Rycus (7f). From family of Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Gayle Gal and from top yard. One to note.
€16,000 three-year-old purchase by So You Think. Half-brother to 2m hurdle/chase winner Peculiar Genius. Dam was 1m2f winner related to 1m4f US Grade 2 winner. Intriguing sort and noted for debut.

€8,000 three-year-old. Dam unraced half-sister to 2m3f hurdle/chase winner Running In Heels. Yard's apparent second choice in this however so best watched.

First foal. Dam was placed in bumpers and over hurdles but notably is half-sister to top jumper Champagne Fever. Hails from top yard so must be respected.

150/1
First foal. Dam is unraced half-sister to bumper winner Stokes (2m) and closely related to 2m3f winner Iktitaf. Yard have poor record in these contests though so others are preferred.

Daughter of Kalanisi out of 2m winning Dam. No show when beaten 75L on debut at Roscommon (2m) and has to find plenty of improvement from that.

There are some interesting newcomers in this contest, but the preference is to stick with one who already offers racecourse experience in FIX THE BILL. While he was no match for an easy winner, he took the eye when keeping on well that day and while he will want further in time, he should have the necessary improvement to take this. Bubbles In May has some blueblood in her pedigree being closely related to Grade 1 winner Champagne Fever, while Jesse Evans and Elusive Gigolo have taking profiles too. Mahlers Dollar is also a main danger if replicating his debut effort, but isn't necessarily in need of the drop back to this trip.
  1. Fix The Bill
  2. Guns For Hire
  3. Bubbles In May
