Showed ability without seriously threatening on each of his three starts in decent-looking maidens. Likely to be much more competitive now & so he is highly respected for yard currently operating at a solid strike-rate.

Been given just over a month off after finishing in midfield when more was expected of him at Naas (6f; yielding to soft). The form he showed in defeat in two starts prior to that would bring him right into this though so worth another chance.

Sole winner in the field was far from disgraced in a competitive event at Down Royal (5f; good) most recently behind Measure Of Magic & Miss Amulet who have since represented themselves very well in 'Listed' company. New trip on handicap bow.

Only encouraging run came on the AW. Two efforts on grass have been poor. Up in trip on handicap debut but plenty more needed in a first time tongue-strap after only beating one home at Naas (5f; good).

Standout effort of her three career runs so far came over 7f on 'heavy' ground. Needs to bounce back from running below-par at Limerick (6f; good) recently. Respected from this source but others look a bit more enticing.

Gone backwards in two starts since posting a very encouraging debut effort at this track in June. Should appreciate switch to handicaps but given the way he has been running lately it would be foolish to suggest anything other than a watching brief.

Form of her third at Cork (5f; good) to Miss Amulet was boosted at the start of the week when that filly won a 'Listed' event with the talented Frenetic back in second. Makes handicap debut as she returns to 6f & should be firmly involved.

Forecasts

Tar Heel (5/2), Dacesa (11/4), Procellarum (4/1), Dress Kode (13/2), Lunar Space (9/1), Tammany Hall (12/1), Revolutme (16/1)

14:35 Curragh - 9 August 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A competitive event despite the small field with REVOLUTME the selection. She holds the best form in this contest after finding the improving Miss Amulet too good when third at Cork. That form has been well advertised since and she now makes her handicap debut at a less demanding level so can get off the mark. Dacesa should be right there too given she also finished narrowly behind the same filly at Down Royal, and is the only one in the line-up with winning form to their name. One who should not be written off yet is Tar Heel who ran below-par when last seen but showed good form prior to that & could bounce back. Procellarum is another to consider.
  1. Revolutme
  2. Procellarum
  3. Dacesa
