80-1 on debut at Fairyhouse (6f, good to firm) last month, when he ran well for a long way before tiring. Not devoid of promise then, and if he can improve this time, then he could be competitive over this shorter trip.

Was a solid 9/2 chance on debut in a fillies' maiden at Navan (5½f, yld) last month, when she came there to win her race but was headed close home. That was a promising start and if she can step up on it, she looks a big player again.

16:10 Tipperary - 7 August 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

MATEO CRUZ can get the evening off to a flying start for trainer Joseph O'Brien. The youngster ran well on debut at the Curragh in June on sole start for Edward Harty, finishing fourth of the 11 runners. The Elzaam colt can improve here at the expense of the Gavin Cromwell-trained Giselles Thunder who was a solid 9/2 chance on debut in a fillies' maiden at Navan last month, when she came there to win her race but was headed close home. The Johnny Murtagh yard are still in good form and their Urban Step looks set to improve on his debut effort at Naas last month while I Am Magnetic should not be taken lightly.
