Most experienced of these over fences (1-13), proved hard to win with prior to going pointing (1-3 in that sphere), plus having wind surgery. Looked a different proposition last time, cashed-in on a reduced mark, up 7lb, has to prove himself again.

Just the five go to post, all of the quintet can be given some sort of chance. Captain Buck’s looked a reformed individual last time having spurned plenty of chances in the past to get off the mark over fences although he did only beat some reluctant types at Stratford. NO HIDDEN CHARGES came up against a good one in Ballyhome last time and he looks the type to make a better chaser than hurdler (was useful in that sphere). He jumped boldly last time and that could stand him in good stead here if going from the front again. Seddon would have been the best over hurdles but he didn’t totally convince at Stratford last time whilst Paseo and Shantaluze need to improve making their chase debuts.
