Modest handicapper whose losing streak continues to grow despite running some respectable races at this level of late. Creditable fifth last time at Catterick over 1f further he remains vulnerable to less-exposed sorts, tough draw to overcome.
Took advantage of a career-low mark back from five-months off to land a C&D handicap in June (Qaaraat, fourth). Remained in form for the most part since then over 5f without looking a future winner, horribly drawn this time around.
Unreliable type who has yet to find his form/spark for this yard having had four starts for them. Kept to sprint trips these days, not seen to best effect at Catterick (6f, good) last time, not one to be making excuses for though.
Showed some ability as a 2yo over 5f/6f without ever really producing a convincing performance having looked a likely type for nurseries. Two poor runs this year now leave further question marks as to whether he's trained on, others more persuasive.
Winner off 6lb higher last year at Doncaster in a race he's won/run well in before over 5f it looks as though that contest is his Cup Final. Hinted at a revival on his reappearance; ran poorly last time, only limited appeal, poorly drawn.
Improving, albeit at a low level 3yo; won last two handicaps following up his initial Thirsk win (6f) at Barth (5.7f) last time staying on well to lead late in the piece. Form last time has been franked by the third, task made harder by wide draw.
Running in just her second handicap when scoring for the first time at Bath 5.7f), made all the running, held on well. That was improved form, nudged up 2lb that shouldn't be a problem, well-drawn, has to prove she can dominate a big field.
Dual C&D winner last year, the second win coming off today's mark (wore first-time blinkers). Not the easiest to predict but tends to go well on uphill tracks (also a dual Pontefract winner), run needed last time, bounce back required.
Modest maiden (0-15) who ran better than for some while in a first-time hood (retained) at Catterick (5f) last time in maiden company (250-1). Still not of enough interest to win something like this even off a basement mark, others appeal more.
Last two starts have shown some progress with excuses being available on both occasions. Badly hampered when fourth over C&D and not best placed when sixth at Redcar last time over 6f which probably stretches her, poor draw to overcome.
Not seen since running poorly and without any fluency on the AW around the turn of the year at up to 7f. Had made a winning handicap debut at Musselburgh last year from a basement mark (never looked like following up), new headgear combination.
Hard to recommend given the fact that its now over four years since her last (and only) win in a Nottingham maiden. Below form last time over 6f at Catterick, makes no appeal from a win perspective even from a fair draw here.
Modest maiden now on her third trainer having had just the two AW starts for Tony Newcombe for whom she offered little. Hopes pinned on this yard being able to rejuvenate her although that appears unlikely based on prior experience.
Enjoyed a strongly-run Nottingham 6.1f handicap last year to get off the mark (looked to need every yard of that trip). Merely underlined an unconvincing profile this year with three underachieving starts at 5f/6f, trip looks on the short side.
Scored for the only time when wearing first-time blinkers at Nottingham (5f) in 2018, left previous efforts behind (still looked quirky). Very sporadic profile since then (without and without blinkers), failed fire last year, best watched for now.

A big-field but hard to find many with convincing profiles amongst those seemingly well drawn. HEARTSTAR looks the pick of those with a reasonable starting position although she will have to prove herself from the front (tactics successful last time) in a field of this size. She has less convictions that most and may be able to improve. C&D winner Hello Girl is one of those with claims who is poorly drawn along with Pull Harder Con who has won his last two, he’ll need some good fortune to win from stall 12 but should take comfort that this is a weak heat. Dual C&D winner Oriental Splendour may be worth a second glance whilst Chillon Castle will appreciate this return to 5f.
