Newcomer, 30,000gns yearling second foal, half-brother to 8.3f winner Mashaheer; dam, maiden (stayed 1m4f). Yard capable of having first time out 2yo winners (1-12 this year), this looks a fairly hot contest though.

Well drawn but unlikely to be good enough to be able to use hat advantage having been well beaten on debut having shown early speed over 6f. Hard to envisage her making an impact in this company, best watched.

The most experienced runner in the field who made a pleasing start to his career when second at Haydock (7f, good), a promising first effort. Fourth to Battleground (Vintage Stakes winner earlier in the week), in Chesham, sure to improve again.

From a stable that have twice won this with a newcomer he's been saddled with a tough draw on debut. €180,000 yearling, first foal, dam 7f/7.6f winner, out of a close relative of smart winner up to 1m Swift Gulliver.

Showed plenty to work on from his debut second at Doncaster over this trip (may not have needed such as test as much as the winner). Looks a speedy sort, likely to improve, may find a few others stronger currently especially from this wide draw.

Yard 0-9 with debut 2yo's this year, 30,000gns yearling, second foal, half-brother to 2-y-o 7f winner Sesame Birah, dam, 1m4fm winner, half-sister to useful 1¼m-1½m winner Distain, stiff task for a newcomer.

Newcomer (unlucky with draw), 115,000gns yearling, half-brother to several winners, including useful 1m4fm winner Twitch and useful 2yo 1m winner (stays 1½m) Kaloor. Dam unraced but well related, 1-50 with 2yo newcomers last five years.

Promising pedigree on paper, produced an appealing debut when fourth to Fancy Man on debut at Haydock (7.2f, good/soft). Looked as though the run would bring him on (did second best of newcomers), nicely drawn for his second career start.

Nicely bred Iffraaj colt who offered a lot to like on his Newmarket (7f, good/soft) debut finishing just in front of Dingle. In need of the experience the penny only dropped late on (stayed on under tender handling), open to significant progress.

Golden Flame (2/1), Titian (9/4), Forever Forward (4/1), Tasfeeq (9/2), Longlai (17/2), Titan Rock (9/1), Dingle (12/1), Il Bandito (16/1), Danville (40/1), Raging Rascal (66/1), Glowing For Gold (80/1)

Usually takes a fair sort to win this maiden and TITIAN must have entered several notebooks with his debut performance at Newmarket where once he took a while to get the hang of things before finishing off nicely under a hands-and-heels ride. Further progress looks assured from a yard in good form. Mark Johnston won this in 2017 and his Golden Flame could well put his experience to good use with his form starting to look strong. Richard Hannon runs two, Dingle and Longlai both can be given chances of sorts but the duo may be better at 6f for now. Forever Forward looks a threat and while none of the newcomers is well drawn Il Bandito is from a stable that have won this twice with a debutant.
