C&D winner, consistent sort last season despite only winning once in the Flat (dual winning hurdler). Failed to come on for comeback run at Doncaster (11.9f, good/firm) last time (behind Squelch, runs 3.25). showed little zest, more required.

Completed a handicap hat-trick in early 2019 (12.5f-16f) under Jack Garrity but appeared to reach his limits after that in form terms (still ran with credit). Not disgraced both efforts this year, latterly at Doncaster (11.9f), mark looks high.

Recorded a hat-trick including a C&D win in April 2019, no mean feat for a then 9yo (with Brian Ellison at the time). Shaped well on his second start for this yard on AW, would have needed the run on comeback, not disgraced, more needed though.

Shaped encouragingly last time at Catterick (12.1f, good/firm), looking as though further would suit ideally. Potentially well treated off this mark his overall profile on the Flat (1-14) suggests that he needs to prove that he can build on that run.

Three-time winner last year (all in amateur riders' handicaps) at up to 11.6f he's gradually finding his feet this year (looked to need both runs having moved yards). Slips below his last winning mark now so looks well-weighted if he's ready to go.

Made a good start to life with this yard winning on debut, following up with two runner-up slots (looked in good heart all the time). Clearly not right when below-par last time (bust spell caught up with her), could well bounce back off short break.

Winner at Yarmouth last year (14.1f) this trip looks a little on the short side for him. Would have needed the run last time at Catterick (12.1f, good/firm) after five months off (finished behind Petitioner), can start slowly, makes limited appeal.

One of three 3yo's in the field, steps up in trip for handicap debut having run over as far as 10.2f as a 2yo. Bred to be suited by middle distances, gelded for his return, remains with potential off a fair enough mark, type the yard do well with.

Consistent sort but does have a propensity to occupy the runner-up slot, generally find something to beat him. Produced some typically consistent efforts since returning to action including at Chepstow and Bath the last twice over this trip.

Fair handicapper but hardly a serial winner, multiple efforts last year producing just the one Catterick (13.9f) win off a 2lb lower mark. Makes seasonal debut, no great record fresh, likely to need this given his overall profile.

Typical sort from this yard improving with time/distance having been campaigned over shorter as a 2yo. Won last three handicaps at up to 13.9f, all by narrow margins (still looks rather ungainly), still mileage in his mark, will be hard to beat.

Took a competitive (for the grade) 0-55 handicap at Chelmsford (10f) returning from a break but hasn't quite managed to go on from there. Ran a dismal race last time at Haydock (10.5f, good), cheekpieces now added to get him back on track.

All of the focus here will be on PLEASURE GARDEN who is still well-weighted despite his 6lb penalty (3lb well-in given his future mark). He’s been well campaigned by his trainer, Sir Mark Prescott in typical fashion coming here looking for a four-timer having progressed up the handicap although not by much each time that helped by his rather awkward run style (has still looked inexperienced) and narrow margins of victory. Most of the older horses look held off their marks with the biggest danger likely to be handicap newcomer Spanish Persuader who get the test he needs here. Petitioner ran a sound race last time while Hammy End and the likeable Echo can compete for places.
