Inconsistent maiden, but produced a career-best effort when neck second of 14 to A Few Bob Short in a 1½m handicap at Thurles in October. Dismal effort at Navan a couple of weeks later and plenty to find on return to action.

Mare produced a much-improved showing when scoring at Fairyhouse over 1m5½f last month off a 5lb lower mark. Beaten on a couple of occasions since but could muster a bold bid in this contest.

Genuine handicapper who deserves a change in fortunes. 11-race maiden but running with great credit including at the Curragh on seasonal debut earlier this month. Gives the impression we may not have seen the best of him yet.

Top weight, ALLY CAY has been in good heart since returning to action last month and win for a third time on her 17th start. The four-year-old won at Roscommon on comeback before running well in defeat on unsuitable ground earlier in the month. The six-year-old Happy Company can reveal himself as the main danger and looks to improving based on recent efforts at Killarney and Ballinrobe. Distance winners, Universal Focus and Tenth Amendment look capable of hitting the frame.
  1. Ally Cay
  2. Happy Company
  3. Universal Focus
