The first-time cheekpieces seemed to unlock the potential in MAGIC J who absolutely dotted up under today's jockey at Sandown latest and is he arrives in the same form he will be hard to beat despite being upped 8lb. Recent C&D second Mountain Peak had a whole host of these behind that day so he looks an obvious player with unbeaten handicap debutant Bomb Proof adding intrigue to the contest.
