Showed a good attitude to land an ordinary event at Ascot in September, but has been well beaten on both starts since. Has had a breathing operation since running at Kempton last month, but not easy to enthuse about even so.
All four runs as a 2-y-o on fast turf, showing a good attitude to get off the mark at Lingfield in August. Best effort in handicaps when fourth of 15 to Bill The Butcher over 1m at Newbury last time, and claims if cheekpieces help her eke out more.
Much his best effort when second in a Haydock novice on last month's return. Not gone on from that, however, and ran badly on his handicap debut at York a fortnight ago.
Keen sort (gone to post early last two starts) who was placed on debut at Leicester in September. Not built on that since, and while he may benefit from the re-fitting of a hood, his opening handicap mark is harsh on balance.
Similar form in three starts to date, and simply looked too high in the weights when seventh of 12 to Pretty In Grey on handicap bow at Kempton last time. Cheekpieces tried now.
Better on AW than turf, winning two 7f handicaps last season on Tapeta/Polytrack. Good second at Kempton last time, but not certain to be in the same form back on this surface for first time since a poor effort at Salisbury in September.
Improved to land a 1m handicap at Newcastle on his return, but a rise in the weights seems to have been too much for him in two starts since. Dropped 1lb since last run, but more needed.
Has twice run well on AW, and a bit below that level on sole turf start at Newmarket. That said, his best effort came on handicap debut at Kempton last time, and he should have more to offer.
Better effort to date when fifth of 11 to Ricetta in a 7f maiden at Newmarket on debut. Quickly moves into handicaps, and while her mark is stiff, it's impossible to be sure what her limit is.
Keen sort who was well beaten on her first two starts on turf, and very much had the run of things when winning a weak auction event at Lingfield (6f, AW) last month. Has much more on her plate now handicapping.
Forecasts
Gypsy Whisper (7/4), Zoohoor (5/2), Epic Endeavour (10/1), Lethal Talent (10/1), Claudius Secundus (12/1), Vape (12/1), Cosmic Power (14/1), Lyricist Voice (18/1), Global Esteem (33/1), Irish Tweed (33/1)
Zoohoor has an opening mark which is stiff on form, but she's only had the two runs, and could easily take off returned to 7f. She needs a market check, but in the absence of such clues, GYPSY WHISPER looks the safest choice, and she's also dropping back from a mile, which should suit. Epic Endeavour is another unexposed runner who merits respect in an ordinary contest.
