Multiple chase winner up to 2m5f and looked to be coming back into best form when neck second at Sedgefield (2m4f) in February. Not seen since but can go well when fresh. Shortlisted.
Hasn't won since 2018 but a fair seventh in Wincanton handicap hurdle (2m4f) in January, Lost a shoe that day and worth a market check given he's run well off higher marks in the past.
Had been struggling previously but capitalised on recent promise when narrow winner at Doncaster (2m3f) in March. Up 5lb which is a fair hike but considered.
Four-time winner over hurdles but yet to really go on from latest victory last summer. More needed on 7L fifth at Uttoxeter (2m7f) last time and still way above last winning mark.
C&D on penultimate start over fences in May 2019 but a blow out when pulling up here in June last year. Not seen since but does go well fresh and would be dangerous to ignore.
Was a winner in France four starts ago but not at the same level since. Well beaten 40L at Carlisle (2m3f) on latest start in February and needs a bounce back now.

Most of these rivals look closely matched but preference is for taking a chance with DEMI SANG. He was a smart performer in the past for Willie Mullins and showed his wellbeing with a narrow reverse last time. Given his leniency in the weights for an in-form yard, he could go well. Craigmor is noted being a previous C&D winner and despite his setback, tends to go well when fresh, while claims can also be made for Lungarno Palace, who shaped with promise last time and represents a yard who have hit the ground running since the resumption of racing.
