7f Newcastle novice winner in January 2019 (fourth start) and improved on that on his next two starts in a Wolverhampton handicap and a Newmarket conditions race. Well below that level when last seen in March, however, but could have a say.
Distance winner at Limerick (good) this time last year when trained by Joseph O'Brien. Also struck on his debut for this trainer at Southwell (1m) in November when 3lb lower. Never a contender on his reappearance but is a contender if bouncing back.
Scored over C&D on debut three years ago (good to soft) and added a second win at Nottingham (1m½f, good) later that year. Hasn't added to that, but has shown enough to suggest that he could be a big player from this reducing mark.
Improved with each of her juvenile starts when with Richard Hannon, going close on the third of those at Kempton (7f, AW) last October, and running well back there (1m; handicap) next time. Fourth in the Sandringham last time out and much respected.
Won a Nottingham novice event (1m½f, good to soft) last August and went very close to backing that up on his nursery debut at Newmarket. Close to that form at Doncaster last time. Now visored and looks a big player.
Has shown some promise in three starts so far, but looks to have been allotted a tough mark as he enters handicaps, so will need significant improvement this time if he is to prevail.
Forecasts
Cloud Drift (6/4), Tiritomba (9/4), Gift Of Kings (4/1), Havana Rocket (10/1), Monaadhil (16/1), Fancy Footings (20/1)
An interesting contest where it isn't easy to confidently rule any of them out, but the suggestion is TIRITOMBA. Hugo Palmer's filly is still going the right way and coped well with the hustle and bustle of the Sandringham last time. Cloud Drift could prove to be her biggest danger and arrives in good form, while Havana Rocket; Fancy Footings and Monaadhil can all have cases made.
