Newcomer from a yard going well with their 2yo's this year (7-29, 3-14 with newcomers). €27,000 yearling, second foal, dam winner up to 1m (2yo 5f winner), worth a market check given the form of the yard with juveniles.

Most experienced filly in the field who failed to fire over C&D last time when a short-priced favourite (helped force an overly strong pace). Her second to Albany Stakes winner (Dandalla) on debut reads well, worth another chance on debut form.

Well drawn for one who showed plenty of speed on debut ay Newbury over 6f probably just a little too keen to do herself justice. Yard not firing as well as usual with juveniles this year, all three winners coming on the AW, 0-26 on turf.

Yard 4-18 with 2yo newcomers (had a nice debutant win at Hamilton on Thursday). £17,000 yearling, first foal, dam 6f winner, sister to useful 2yo 5f-6f winner Baitha Alga, nicely drawn and worthy of including in calculations if positive in market.

One of two from the yard in this race (looks the best of them), shaped as if in need of the run on debut at Ripon (6f, good/firm). The overall form of that race is only modest but she should come on for the run given the experience.

Handed an awkward draw for her second start having been a 66-1 chance and green/inexperienced on debut at Ripon (6f, good/firm), well behind stablemate Maeve's Memory. Should know more but looks hard to see her progressing enough to win this.

Yard have a miserable 2% strike-rate with 2yo newcomers over past five years (0-18 this year). Fourth foal, half-sister to 7f winner Jack Randall, dam unraced half-sister to very smart winner at up to 6f The Trader, hard to recommend on balance.

Made a very unpromising start to her career when beating just one home on debut over C&D. Weakened away 2f out, hard to see her improving enough on the back of that solitary run to take a hand in this.

Looks the least-fancied of the two that the yard run in this having been easy to back on debut (16-1) at Ripon (5f, good). Needed that experience badly, slow to stride, ran green; would need to have benefitted greatly from that run to get involved.

Thrown in at the deep end for her debut starting at 80-1 in a Newmarket Listed 6f contest (did as well as could be expected) beaten just over 10L. Will appreciate the ease in grade but still has plenty to prove dropped to 5f.

Batindi (11/4), Navajo Spring (7/2), Olivia Brend (4/1), Bamby Splishsplash (9/2), Beechwood Donna (15/2), Maeve's Memory (9/1), Porth Diana (14/1), Day Job (33/1), Lazyitis (50/1), Libiamo (50/1), Suntory Star (100/1)

12:00 Beverley - 17 July 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The sole non-handicap on the nine-race card it looks to offer NAVAJO SPRING who flopped over C&D last time another chance to make amends and show that her debut effort when second to Albany winner Dandalla was no fluke. She set an overly strong pace on that occasion and a more conservative ride may be in order this time. Batindi is nicely drawn to progress from her debut while Olivia Brend will appreciate this easier task and could well figure back at 5f. The race contains three newcomers of interest in Bamby Splishsplash, Porth Diana and Beechwood Donna the last-named of that trio the most interesting with the yard having had a debut 2yo winner at Hamilton yesterday.
  1. Navajo Spring
  2. Beechwood Donna
  3. Olivia Brend
