Had a cracking winter at Dundalk, winning three out of five, and in the frame on all three starts since joining current yard, including when second to Michaels Choice back on turf at Bath last time. Should get involved again.

Best at 5f, and just stretched by the trip when a promising fourth of 10 to Delagate This Lord at Bath last time. Below his last winning mark, and claims if sharpened up by first-time cheekpieces.

Has dropped to a mark he can win off, but not always an easy ride, and hung badly left when fifth of 13 to Badayel at Windsor last time. Can't afford to repeat such antics here.

Won at Brighton in October, and looked better than ever when making almost all to win over 5½f at Bath last time, beating May Remain. Had the run of things there, but may not have finished his progress just yet.

Won over c&D last August, and runner-up here the following month. Now 1lb higher having bounced back to form with a neck second of 8 to Lorna Cole at Windsor last time. Should go well from a fair draw.

Now 3lb lower than when beating the useful Han Solo Berger over C&D last summer under this rider, and best effort since when ½L second to Englishman on his return at Newmarket. Poised for a big run.

Mark is steadily falling, and while he only finished fourth at Kempton he wasn't disgraced and gave the impression a return to 5f would suit. One to bear in mind.

Ex-French maiden who hasn't progressed from a fair British debut. Below form when sixth of 11 to Fashionesque in a 6f handicap at Windsor last time, albeit that run may have been needed after a break.

Forecasts

Indian Raj (11/4), Our Oystercatcher (11/2), Doc Sportello (11/2), May Remain (6/1), Michaels Choice (7/1), War Whisper (15/2), Broadhaven Dream (8/1), King Robert (10/1), Momtathil (18/1), Seneca Chief (20/1)

16:20 Sandown - 16 July 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

OUR OYSTERCATCHER has an excellent record at this course and distance, and looks to have a suitable set-up here to return to winning ways. Michaels Choice is boxed to attack on the far rail, and is feared, as is May Remain, who has a swing in the weights having finished second to that rival at Bath recently. The form of the Stuart Williams yard is a worry, but the booking of Indian Raj takes the eye, and he's well handicapped on the form of last season's C&D success.
  1. Our Oystercatcher
  2. Michaels Choice
  3. May Remain
