Three starts to date without relative success but showed glimpses when outrunning 200/1 odds to finish sixth at Naas (7f) last time out. Steps into handicap company with lofty enough mark.

Consistent sort on the AW without winning and slowly coming forward on the turf, including 2L fifth at Limerick (1m) last month. Eased 2lb for that so may have a winning chance in this.

Thrice-raced maiden who has shown only a few glimpses of promise. One-paced when sixth in Roscommon maiden (7f) last month and now enters handicap company with something to prove.

Never nearer in four starts to date, including on handicap debut last time when 21L tenth at Roscommon (7f) nine days ago. Eased 2lb but this looks equally as tough.

Four-race maiden. Made his handicap debut last time and while finishing ninth, was only beaten 7L and was doing his best work at the finish. Step up in trip will help and yard does well with these types.

Consistent on first two starts in handicap company this season but failed to fire when beaten 18L at Gowran (1m) this month. Something looked amiss that day and claims if bouncing back.

Thrice-raced maiden with not much promise so far. Beaten 9L on latest start at Navan (5f) and now steps into handicap company over 2f further with plenty to prove.

Not entirely disgraced in a couple of starts as a juvenile but looked regressive when beaten 19L in 7f Gowran maiden last month. Ventures into handicap company but makes limited appeal on paper.

Had been well-held on first two starts since resumption of racing but showed glimpses of best form when 5L eighth at Limerick (1m) in late June. Now poised on career-low mark so cannot be discounted.

Maiden streak stands at seven races now but showed best promise so far when 2l fourth in Roscommon handicap (7f) last month. Eased 1lb for that effort and primed to go well now.

Rank outsider in four starts to date and appearing to struggle. Well-beaten on latest start at Dundalk (7f) four days ago and set to struggle once more.

Highly tried on her first start of the season when out of her depth in the Irish 1,000 Guineas but not beaten far when 6L seventh in Navan maiden (5f) last month. That form still requires a great step up though.

Take My Hand14
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-1| J: Gary Carroll| T: M Mulvany| OR:  52

Lot to like about three of her four runs this season, including when keeping on third over inadequate trip at Sligo (5f) at the start of the month. Back over optimum distance and holds leading claims.

Well-held on each of his three starts to date, including 52L defeat at Fairyhouse (1m2f) at the end of last month. Drops into handicap company with plenty to find.

Made only slight headway during career so far but mainly struggling, including when 8L 13th in 6f Dundalk handicap in March. Not seen since and looks best watched on return.

Had looked a sort who was out of her depth but put up marked performance when 3L fourth in Sligo handicap (5f) two weeks ago. Beat re-opposing rivals that day and still weighted better than them. Claims.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-8| J: L F Roche| T: A McGuinness| OR:  45

Had been running better than result positions suggests but looked bottomed out on heavy ground at Roscommon last time. Return to better ground should help. Some place claims.

Rank outsider in all five of her starts to date and not showing much. Latest 9L 13th at Dundalk (1m) suggests a lot is needed to be found in this company.

16:45 Leopardstown - 16 July 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

The race may lack some winning substance but plenty of these rivals put up taking performances last time and one who may be worth taking a chance with is TAKE MY HAND. She has been generally a model of consistency this term and gets a 1lb respite for an encouraging race at Sligo last time. That trip looked to be too sharp, so this C&D could prove to be right up her street. Tommy The Hat has similarly been eased but showed great promise in near-unraceable conditions last time out and this is expected to suit better, while the likes of Jm Barrie and Sweet Justice tend to run up to their marks each time and are more trustworthy than others in a race which lacks some depth to it.
  1. Take My Hand
  2. Tommy The Hat
  3. Jm Barrie
