Confirmed the promise of two runs this season when getting up in determined fashion at the Curragh on penultimate start (1m, good); found things tougher with penalty and over shorter last time.

Improved a fair bit as the season went on last year but two runs this season suggests he is worth opposing until given some relief from the handicapper.

Much better effort when stepped up to a mile for the first time last time at Bellewstown; still looks fairly well handicapped and one for the shortlist.

Yet to hit the frame in seven starts since joining this yard in November last year; has finished stone last on his last two racecourse appearances; not hard to suggest others currently make more appeal.

Has an annoying habit of always being slowly away but has made up for that on occasions; handicapper has kept him on similar mark for a long time now and could do with some relief to be ultra-competitive.

Has started season with renewed vigour recording two decent performances at Navan and Leopardstown in June; step back to a mile should suit and looks a danger off current mark; won over course and distance and for today's jockey this time last year

Probably needed recent reappearance run at Navan recently; appeared to be in the handicapper's grip after success at Galway last autumn; could be similar story once again.

Last seen on the Flat contesting valuable handicap at this track over 1m6f; latest hurdle runs have generally been poor; as with stablemate Mr Everest check market for connections confidence over this seemingly inadequate trip.

Six-race maiden, well held on return to action at Gowran Park last month as well as more recently at Roscommon; cheekpieces on for the first time; not without a chance but others preferred.

17:25 Killarney - 15 July 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Course and distance winner KOYBIG looks to have a decent chance of adding to his two career victories on turf after a promising start to the season at Navan and Leopardstown. The course and distance winner won at this meeting last year for today's apprentice and although he has a few more pounds to carry can run a big race. Mary Salome seemed to enjoy being stepped up to this trip last time and while the application of first time cheekpieces could be seen as a negative, could still go well. Mr Everest and Nibiru appear to have been declared in error or have been placed well by their canny trainer. Watch the market.
