Finished second here (7f) last Deecmber, well held in the end but winner was useful. However, a very poor effort at Newmarket on reappearance needs forgiving, and you'd like to see a bit more before getting involved financially.

Four efforts for previous yard in France produced a win, and she ran respectably on her debut for new yard at Beverley, finishing third. Might be more at home on this surface and she has chances if coming on a bit from that. Cheekpieces now tried.

Made all to score over 7f here last September, winning easily, and held his form after that. Back from an absence today but may have more to offer, and gets a change of headgear. Plenty to like about his chance if fit tonight.

Almost won on debut last year, close third over 7f and pretty much ran to that same level in four subsequent starts, including twice last month. This surface clearly no issue, mark looks workable and he's one with a solid chance.

Seems to have refound some form, winner of two of her last three starts, including on reappearance at Lingfield last month, making all and battling on gamely. 4lb higher tonight but still looks a workable mark.

Placed three times here last winter, almost winning on second start (7f), but didn't really progress and was well beaten on reappearance at Goodwood. May do better switched back to this surface and could come on for that run.

Has won last two starts, both at Bath, and showed a good attitude to worry the runner-up out of it last time when looking beaten. New surface to contend with but clearly on the up, and has to be on anyone's shortlist. Change of headgear tonight.

Only had the two starts so handicapper has little to go on, but it was worrying that he took quite a backwards step on his reappearance at Lingfield last time. Return to an artifical surface may suit, and market may be the best guide.,

Ran okay over C&D last year, finishing a staying-on fourth, and reappearance ruin can be forgiven as he was too keen, and ground may not have suited. This looks more suitable and a better effort may be forthcoming if he can settle better.

Has had two starts since racing resumed, placed on both of them ann last time, over C&D, tried to make all before weakening late. May well try those tactics again and with no worries about conditions, should give it a good go from the front.

Placed on four of his six starts, including twice on this surface, but isn't really going forward and threw in a very moderate effort at Chepstow last time. Switch back to the sand may help, but needs to bounce back, and probably improve a little.

Much better effort over C&D on reappearance last month, a well-held second at the finish but looked in need of the run and may finish off stronger here. Repeat of that alone gives him a chance, and he's one for the shortlist.

Runner-up in two Lingfield maidens on only two starts to date, and has chances of reversing form with Too Shy Shy at the weights today (has ¾l to find). May not be entirely straightforward but step up to 1m should suit, and he has chances.

19:45 Kempton - 15 July 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Pitchcombe and Too Shy Shy both hold chances on form but it's not hard to see the pair of them engaging in a speed duel up front, and they might set it up for something. SWINLEY FOREST looks likely to improve a bit on his run here last time out where he got a bit tired late, and if coming on from that, might be the one to beat. Bythebay is unexposed and is another potential improver, and Motamayiz comes here looking for the hat-trick. Both have chances, along with Jaiwan and Vulcan, who could do better with an end-to-end gallop.
  1. Swinley Forest
  2. Motamayiz
  3. Bythebay
