Camelot colt, cost 18,000 gns as a yearling and €100,000 as a Breeze-up purchase; one paced on debut at the Curragh in June; should be stronger here and one to consider with that experience under his belt.

Galileo colt, half-brother to Breeders' Cup Turf winner Main Sequence; best effort from three came last time out at the Curragh; would only need to improve marginally to have every chance in this contest.

16:10 Cork - 12 July 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Based on his recent run at the Curragh, MONUMENT VALLEY has an excellent chance of breaking his maiden tag before progressing to better things. On breeding alone, he should be winning this type of race given the amount of racecourse experience he has accrued. Another with lovely breeding is stablemate Ramesses The Great. The colt ran no sort of race on debut in a decent Leopardstown maiden last month and should appreciate this step up in trip. Eaglemont did not particularly shine on his racecourse debut last month but the experience will have done him good and he could run well.
  1. Monument Valley
  2. Ramesses The Great
  3. Eaglemont
