Dual Flat winner on soft ground in France and won heavy ground Catterick maiden hurdle in February. Found less than anticipated when only third at Southwell recently and steps up 2f on handicap bow with tongue-tie now added. Sets a fair standard.
Failed to win in 10 Flat starts in France and Channel Islands. Absent 680 days and likely to improve for this first start over hurdles on debut for new connections.
Ludlow 1m6f bumper winner in December 2018 on only second outing but fell at 3rd on hurdles bow and pulled up only other start over timber. Returns from 15 month absence and is open to improvement under top jockey.
Very well bred Dansili gelding who showed ability both starts on Flat at around 1m4f for Hugo Palmer in 2018. Gelded and sold to current connections for 35,000gns and makes hurdles bow after 599-day absence. Defintely owrth a market check.
1-10 in point-to-points and now switches to take his chance under Rules. Plenty of experience but doesn't look anything special on what he's achieved so far. Others preferred.
Schiaparelli gelding who showed only a hint of ability first two starts then pulled up last time out in February in 2m5f Wincanton novice hurdle. May do better in time in handicaps but faces a tough task here.
1-7 on Flat for Sir Michael Stoute winning 1m2f Newcastle handicap off 81 in May 2019. Bought for £35,000 prior to first run for current yard when 12th of 13 in March Warwick novice hurdler. May do better this time.
Failed to reach even a place in six attempts point-to-pointing and returns for Rules debut after 27-month absence. Debut for new connections but is very hard to enthuse over.
Very modest form in six starts at up to 1m6f for Andrew Balding last year. Not disgraced when sixth of 12 on debut for current yard at Lingfield in February and not imposible she may improve now hurdling.

The market should indicate if the hurdles debutant Referee is fancied on his first run for nearly 600 days. He is bred to be a decent horse but has obviously been difficult to train. Shareef Star was the best of these on the Flat but ran poorly on his hurdles bow, so despite having to concede weight all round Catterick winner ASHUTOR is the choice. He tired late on last time so may do better now the tongue-tie is applied. Jimmy The Digger won a 2018 bumper well enough and things didn't go his way in two hurdles starts after. He may win races but has it to prove here following a 15-month break.
