100/1
Clueless on debut at Southwell (1m) in February 2019; absent since (for 495 days), and has swiftly left the care of John Gosden; wholly unconvincing until proving otherwise.

Dubawi colt; off the mark at the first time of asking at Chelmsford (1m) last November - form is respectable; bettered that under a penalty on turf debut (third) at Newmarket (1m, good) 16 days ago; this sharper track should suit.

Well beaten on both starts to date (Wolverhampton & Redcar); simply can't be of any interest at this stage of his racing career.

The step up to 1m at Chelmsford (wore a first-time hood) didn't bring about much improvement; thought to be a most unlikely candidate on first start for 208-days.

125/1
Half-brother to a couple of prolific winning sprinters; blew his chance (80-1) with a woeful start here (6f, good) three weeks ago; look elsewhere.
Australia gelding; never better than mid-division on debut (33-1) at Newbury (1m, good to soft); thankfully there's nothing of the calibre of Lord Campari or Tsar lurking here; trainer is an infrequent visitor to Thirsk (1-6; 17% career).

Dubawi colt; brother to the 7f winner To Dibba; took minor honours behind the still unbeaten Boccaccio (3-3) on debut at Kempton (7f) last November; is bred to stay 1m and beyond.

Lost a shoe when finishing down the field at massive odds (200-1) at Redcar (7f, good) 15 days ago; can't be considered in any shape or form.

Dismal on the AW (1m-1m2f) towards the end of 2019; absent since (for 273-days); with an official rating of just 31 looks to be truly devoid of any ability; no chance barring a miracle.

Mastercraftsman filly (34,000gns yearling) second foal from the 6f AW winner Elhaam; carries the well-known Clipper Logistics silks; market can offer an indicative guide.

Horse silk
25/1
Night Of Thunder filly; raced freely, and didn't last home (14-1) on debut at Redcar (7f, good) 18 days ago - the winner of that race (Confide) contests the opening division at 7.00pm.

Slowly away, and always behind (80-1) on debut at Leicester (6f, good to firm) 11 days ago; can make no appeal whatsoever.

Forecasts

Montather (1/5), One Idea (7/2), Artistic Vision (16/1), O'Reilly's Pass (16/1), Hesssa (16/1), Highfield Princess (25/1), Flash To Bang (50/1), Copper And Five (100/1), Hail Sezer (125/1), Delgrey Boy (150/1), Spycracker (150/1), Zinnia (150/1), Thomas Hawk (150/1)

19:30 Thirsk - 6 July 2020 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

MONTATHER raced keenly when weakening late on (third) at Newmarket last month, therefore, Roger Varian's charge should relish the switch to this sharper circuit. A winner on debut at Chelmsford last November, this Dubawi colt has by far and away the best form on offer. Suitable place alternatives include, the once-raced One Idea, and the David Elsworth-trained O'reilly's Pass. The latter of whom faces nothing of the calibre of the likes of Lord Campari or Tsar on this occasion.
  1. Montather
  2. One Idea
  3. O'reilly's Pass
